Como Park Zoo & Conservatory Wedding Photography | Yihao + Shirley

Right before the reception, in the sunken garden at the Como Zoo Conservatory, I asked Yihao what he was looking forward to most about his life with Shirley. He said, “Embracing the future whatever may happen. I don’t really worry about the future…especially nowadays just because I know that she’ll be there. And as long as I have her with me, I have no worries whatsoever.”

At their first look, we saw that relaxation happen in real time. With all the rush of the morning to get ready and get to Como, there was some inevitable stress. It was the culmination of so many months of work to get everything ready for the wedding. But as soon as they saw each other, they lit up, and the stress just fell away. What Yihao meant was totally apparent.

And then of course, towards the end of the night, was another specific moment that Yihao said he was anxious/excited for: the choreographed dance for his dad, with full backup from his groomsmen. They totally killed it! It was both hilarious and adorable at the same time – film to come soon!

Shirley and Yihao, thank you so much for choosing us to be a part of your wedding day. We appreciate you trusting us…even after we let your groomsmen throw you in the air and drop you that one time…Congratulations!
