Hewing Hotel Wedding Photography | Shadi + Trent

Shadi and Trent were married on the rooftop of the Hewing Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. It was beautiful and epic, but still casual and relaxed – just like Trent and Shadi 😉

Their wedding was a perfect example of choosing the traditions that mean something to you, and letting all the rest go. They didn’t do a traditional sit-down dinner, they had fresh oysters on the rooftop and passed hors d’oeuvres. They wanted to get married on the rooftop but couldn’t fit chairs for everyone, so they had big benches and a short ceremony so people could stand. I love when couples can mind-meld on what’s important to them and take a pass on standards that don’t fit their style.

The end result was that everyone danced the night away on the roof with the Minneapolis skyline behind them. Shout outs to your awesome planner, Ashley and DJ Dudley D, who kept the dance floor packed! Shadi and Trent, you created such a beautiful wedding day with tons of amazing memories for you and for your guests. Congratulations!
